Pigment
Color in Motion
Surf Rock carries the unexpected—layers of color formed over time through the messy, magical process of surfboard production. As resin is poured, dripped, and sanded away, vibrant streaks and swirls build up on workshop floors. These hardened layers are what we reclaim to shape each Surf Gem.
Because no two slabs are the same, the pigments vary wildly—from soft gradients and marbled clouds to bold, saturated flashes of color. We don’t control the colors—we discover them. That’s part of the magic.
Each hue tells a story, shaped by process, accident, and artistry.
