As builders glass fresh boards, excess resin drips onto the shop floor and hardens, layer by layer, into vibrant slabs of Surf Rock. 

This material typically gets torn up and tossed out. 

After seeing enough resin go to waste, I started developing a process to sculpt colorful gems from these reclaimed pieces of petrified pigment. I shape each gem by hand in my Morro Bay studio – a few blocks from the cold Central Coast waters where I first fell in love with surfing. Surf Gems are a one-of-one, handcrafted statement, a conversation starter, and a bold reminder that beauty is hiding everywhere.
